Becoming a member of BAMA means joining a mission-driven community of  Black physicians working to uplift, empower, and innovate in health care. Our members are the backbone of everything we do, and together we make a lasting impact across Tampa Bay and beyond.

How to Join

For New Members

Joining BAMA takes just two steps.

Annual dues: $150. Dues are due each year by August 1. New members can join at any time.

  1. Submit your application using the form below so we can welcome you and add you to our member list.
  2. Pay your dues by credit card with optional auto-renewal.

Already a member? You don’t need to apply again. Go to renewal instructions ↓. These include steps for members who paid dues before but never set up an online account.

After you submit your application, complete Step 2 below to pay your dues.

Step 2: Pay Dues

Pay by credit card

Create your account using the form and select the annual membership. Check “Automatically renew subscription” to renew each year without having to remember.

Already a Member?

Renew through Existing Member Account

If you already have a BAMA account, please renew through your existing account. Don’t create a new account.

  1. Log in. Click Member Login below and enter the email (or username) and password you used when you joined. Forgot your password? Use the reset link below the button.
  2. View your membership. After you log in, the Subscriptions tab shows your plan, status, and next payment date.
  3. If your status is Expired: click Renew under Actions, enter your card or use Apple Pay, and complete payment. To avoid renewing manually next year, check Automatically renew subscription.
  4. If your status is Active with a Next Payment date: you’re all set. Your membership will renew automatically on that date using the card on file.
  5. Need to change your card? Click Update next to Payment Method.
  6. Need a receipt? Click the Payments tab to see your payment history.
