Our Journey
What began as a small circle of Black physicians in Tampa Bay in the 1980s. Our network includes doctors in at least 3 counties and nearly every specialty.Through community health events, educational programs, and professional development, BAMA connects physicians with one another and with the patients who need them most. Whether you are a physician looking for a professional home, a partner who shares our commitment to health equity, or a community member who wants to get involved, there is a place for you at BAMA.
